I had high hopes for this restaurant, so I was very disappointed.Due to a mistake by the taxi driver, I was dropped off at the wrong location and was about two minutes late. I called ahead to inform them that I would arrive shortly.When I arrived, the chef didn’t even look our way, and the first dish was already served at our table. Since I had rushed to get there, I was quite thirsty and wanted a drink first. I was told they didn’t have beer, so I ordered a bottle of white wine and some sparkling water, but I ended up waiting for a while with just the food in front of me.On that day, the chef was not working alone; there were other staff members present as well. I understood that the restaurant operated on a simultaneous start system and that the dishes were being prepared. However, there was only one other customer besides us, and it wasn’t a full house, so I believe they could have held the first dish in the kitchen until we arrived. If they had done that, the impression of the meal's beginning would have been completely different.The white wine that was served later was at room temperature. While I understand that preferences vary, I asked if they could chill the bottle in an ice bucket with ice and water. However, they were not flexible in accommodating this request, which I found surprising since I didn’t think it was an unreasonable request.Furthermore, throughout the meal, there were loud noises from the open kitchen, such as pots being placed forcefully, dishes being slammed down, and doors being shut with force. I’m not sure what the intention was, but these sounds made it difficult to enjoy our meal in a calm atmosphere.My companion even remarked, "We’re just asking to chill the white wine that isn’t cold," and at one point, we had to ask them to be quieter due to the ongoing loud noises. I felt sorry for the other customer who was also affected by this atmosphere, and I found myself apologizing.The dishes were carefully prepared and delicious. However, given the price range of the restaurant, I had expectations not only for the food but also for the service and the overall experience.As a couple, we travel around Tohoku every year and have encountered wonderful chefs and restaurants in various places. That’s why I feel very disappointed that this experience has become a memory of Akita.
