I visited before heading to Konpira Shrine from Takamatsu.This is one of the places I had always wanted to try based on reviews and recommendations.Despite it being a rainy weekday, there were people in front of the restaurant.I parked my car in the lot in front and made my way inside.When it was my turn in line, the staff asked, "Cold or hot?" The options are limited to cold, hot, regular, or large, which allows for quick service, and soon enough, I received my bowl of udon.After receiving my bowl, I added some dipping sauce and garnishes like ginger and green onions, then chose some tempura and croquettes at the register before paying. After that, I headed across the street to enjoy my udon.Although it was raining, the short distance of about 10 meters made it manageable to run over.The taste of the udon I had been looking forward to was indeed exceptional.I started with a regular cold udon and then shared a large hot udon with my husband.Both were delicious, but I preferred the hot one for its chewy, mochi-like texture.Overall, it was a fulfilling experience in many ways.
