A reservation-only restaurant in Ashiya, I made my booking two months in advance for the second seating at 8:30 PM. Even though I was alone, when I walked from Ashiya Station on the day of my visit, the second seating was fully booked. The batter was incredibly thin and light, and the skewers were perfectly crispy. The young sweetfish was fresh, and the kushi katsu was on par with high-end tempura, all at a reasonable price considering the quality. The service was exceptional, even for a first-time visit. I was worried I might not finish the course since I was still feeling full from lunch, but I managed to eat about 20 skewers. It's no surprise this place will be fully booked for months to come!
