In June 2026, I received a long-awaited invitation and revisited Sushi Meino for the first time in over two years. This time, I was excited to enjoy exquisite sushi paired with a selection of wines and Japanese sake chosen by the chef, so I skipped lunch and arrived in an overwhelming state of hunger.First, I took in the view of Tokyo Tower from the terrace, savoring the feeling of being a local from Minato Ward, before entering at 5 PM. The fried Kohada, which I probably had for the first time, was outstanding. The second white and red wines served were absolutely to my taste! (I’m not an expert, but they were just my preference.)It was an immensely satisfying evening. It was a great meal.I can’t usually make a reservation myself, but since I want to enjoy plenty of drinks, I’m looking forward to being invited to another wine gathering.
