Weekday visit at 11:10, entered at 12:05.About two weeks ago, I called to reserve three servings. While they do accept reservations for food, you cannot book a specific time, so you need to visit on the day, provide your name, and wait in your car for a while. The parking lot is not very spacious and is divided into two areas. Luckily, I found a spot in the second parking lot, but I noticed a few people struggling to find parking.Since we were three, we ordered three eels, and we could choose between unaju (grilled eel over rice) or shirayaki (grilled eel without sauce) on the day. I requested one as shirayaki, and for the other, we split it into two eel rice bowls, while the remaining one was prepared as unaju. The half portion felt a bit insufficient, so it might be better to reserve an extra eel if you plan to have shirayaki. The eel was, of course, prepared in the Kanto style, resulting in a wonderfully fluffy texture. The sauce was not too strong and complemented the fluffy eel perfectly. The fluffiness of the eel here stands out among the top eel restaurants I’ve visited, making it my favorite Kanto-style eel so far. The shirayaki was served with fresh wasabi and ponzu sauce, and it was absolutely delightful.I would love to return if they could improve their reservation system, but considering the wait times and parking situation, it’s quite a challenge to visit. I hope to come back when I have more time.
