To wrap up my exploration of Kamakura, I visited Ichirin Hanare, located about a 20-minute walk from Kamakura Station. I made a reservation for dinner starting at 5 PM.As I walked down a narrow road that could only fit one car, I found the restaurant nestled among quiet residential homes surrounded by lush greenery. Ichirin Hanare stands out at the very end of the alley, housed in a renovated old folk house that was once home to a French diplomat.I had been looking forward to visiting Ichirin Hanare for quite some time, and I was finally able to make it.Cheers with a beer! When toasting with wine glasses, the sound is usually pleasant, but the sound of these glasses is exceptional—deep and resonant, reminiscent of a temple bell.■ Corn Chilled corn soup■ Sagami Bay Appetizer with squid and Kinka ham?■ Blue Crab Enjoyed by digging it out■ Tanba Kōsaka Chicken - Tender local chicken hidden in a spicy sesame sauce - Served with dipping sauce for gyoza - Finally, noodles mixed with Sichuan peppercorn are added to the dipping sauce■ Shark Fin Two large pieces of grilled shark fin I also enjoy the separately prepared rice porridge, haha.■ Sagami Bay II This time, it’s the fins■ Crunchy Beijing duck with a focus on texture■ Tokobushi ■ Dan Dan Noodles Without soup■ Shiso Gelato■ Tea Sweets DessertI thoroughly enjoyed the various dishes made with local ingredients from the Kamakura area, centered around Sichuan cuisine. It was a great meal! Thank you!
