◉ Chitose Funabashi / Kalpasi* The restaurant operates irregularly about twice a week, and reservations can be made via LINE starting from 10 PM on Fridays, one week in advance. It was quite a challenge to secure a reservation, but I finally managed to do it. There is only one course available (JPY 3300) with one drink included. This is a South Indian curry restaurant, located about a 10-minute walk from the station, nestled in a residential area. Upon arrival, I found the side dishes already arranged on banana leaves. Although my reservation was for 6 PM, all the curries were served around 6:30 PM. I expected the dishes to come out gradually as part of the course, but that wasn't the case. The meal centered around chicken curry, accompanied by eggplant, potatoes, zucchini, daikon radish, okra, and tsurumurasaki (a type of leafy vegetable). There was a generous amount of vegetables, and the broth was flavorful. Each dish had a gentle texture. You could taste the spices, but it wasn't spicy. When you mix all the curries together, including the side dishes, it becomes incredibly delicious! The burnt mustard seed coconut gelato served at the end was absolutely amazing!—————————————————————————Address: 4-3-10 Kyodo, Setagaya-ku, Tokyo, 1FBusiness Hours:1st Session: 18:00 - 19:402nd Session: 20:15 - 22:00
