I had a reservation for 12:00 and arrived 5 minutes early at the entrance. There were a few chairs available, but most people were standing and waiting. I thought it might have been better not to open at all... This gave me a somewhat uncertain impression right from the start.Regarding the food, there was an overall tendency towards sweet flavors. While I could sense the effort put into the presentation and entertaining the guests, the taste did not quite match up. The most questionable item was the plant-based butter served with the bread. It didn’t taste like butter at all, and I found the soy milk-like flavor off-putting; I would have preferred regular fermented butter instead. The best dish was the turnip puree, followed closely by the apple tart for dessert. Oh, and the non-alcoholic pairing and the final cup of Japanese black tea were delicious.
