Hello everyone.Today, I visited "Eragon" in Ashiya.This is a reservation-only restaurant that has become quite difficult to book, and I’ve been coming here every two months lately.On this day, I enjoyed a variety of a la carte dishes:- Chicken liver pâté- Chicken breast marinated with kombu- Grilled chicken thigh with wasabi- Chicken and avocado tartare- Chicken and cucumber salad with kanzuri- Spicy mixed noodles with Senshu eggplant- White sesame salad with lotus root and watercressThe evolution of Oshio chicken is unstoppable.With each dish, I was reminded of the wide range of flavors that can be drawn from the chicken.To finish off, I had the classic chicken paitan (white soup) and the summer limited chilled sudachi noodles.The chilled sudachi noodles are a special treat available only in summer.The acidity of the sudachi beautifully enhances the richness of the chicken paitan, making it the perfect way to end a hot summer night.If you want to truly experience the essence of Oshio chicken in the Ashiya area, this is the place to go.I now have yet another reason to want to come back every two months.See you!
