After going here, there are pretty much no reasons to eat hamaguri at any other place. Perhaps there is something in the waters around Kuwana, but this time around, these beasts are the summer ones where they grow rather large. The flavours and balance are almost indescribable, like a series of umami bombs that detonate with each bite and scarfed down with some of its own clam jus. Not chewy, not too plump, and not too clammy... everything was just right.... More
