Akimoto-san trained at the famous ramen shops Keika, Junren, and Mutahiro, before opening his own spot. Both the shio and shoyu are worth trying, as are the additional wonton toppings. Mikawaya Seimen supplies the noodles. The soup is an umami-rich blend of chicken and katsuo. Fresh vegetable toppings. In addition to ramen, there is shoyu and shio tsukemen on the menu. However, it’s a house rule that one must first eat the shoyu tsukemen before they are allowed to even order the shio.
