Recommended bowl: Premium bowls

Suzuran is famous for fresh handmade noodles served in dishes bearing a striking Chinese influence. Ranging up to several thousand yen per bowl or more, these are among the more expensive bowls of ramen in Tokyo. Suzuran offers shoyu ramen, wontonmen, chashumen with roast pork, kakuni ramen with chunks of juicy stewed pork belly, and tantanmen with sesame and chili oil. Be on the lookout for seasonal specials as well. You can choose from thin straight noodles, flat and wide noodles, thick tsukemen noodles and more. Everything is house-made and recommended, but the favorite might be the wontonmen – delicate handmade wontons and fresh springy noodles served in a light shoyu soup.
