Recommended bowl: Tonkotsu w/ lamb
This is one of the premier outposts of master Tomoharu Shono’s Mensho ramen group. It's the first ramen shop in Japan that became well known for lamb bone soup. Composed of approximately 70% tonkotsu and 30% lamb, you get the velvety creaminess familiar to tonkotsu along with savory hints of lamb without any funk — a marvelous blend. Aside from standard ramen and tsukemen, the ’maze-hitsuji’ (lamb mazesoba) comes loaded with spices and is highly recommended.
