Recommended bowl: OG Tokyo ramen
Kusumara, or “The Bush”, is a nostalgic, family-owned shop doing things the same way over multiple generations. The decor is outdated but no one seems to mind. Simple ramen noodles go into a clear, katsuo-heavy soup, ladled out of a pot which looks like it’s been in use for decades. Typical old school Tokyo-style shoyu. The gyoza are thick and plump, packed full of veggies and meat. Some customers come just for the gyoza. Usually frequented by regular customers who live nearby.
