Recommended bowl: Old school shack
Harubarutei is set up like a ramen shack, where you can drink and order side dishes like pork ears and grilled chicken before digging into your ramen. A few masters from other well known shops have trained here — this is a known shop with history. The recommended dish here is the shoyu wontonmen, made with a crisp, clear soup, packed with choice dumplings. Every year, the master takes all of August off to travel somewhere new around the world, so avoid late summer.
