Recommended bowl: Hybrid miso ramen

A famous old-school shop located along the Kawabata Shopping Arcade. Although this is Fukuoka, the influence on the food here can be traced to Sapporo. The go-to bowl for most is a hybrid miso ramen influenced by Sapporo style, but made using local Kyushu miso. All ingredients are domestically sourced from various prefectures around Japan, which include bean sprouts, carrots, onions, eggs, rice, etc. Champon and Sara udon also on the menu, but miso ramen is the recommendation. One of the old-school local legend shops in Hakata, open since 1970.
