Just a stone’s throw from the water, Hamaya has a bit of beach style vibe to it. The bowls come with a soup that is katsuo and pork based, with noodles supplied by Nerukina Seimenjo. The recommended Hamaya Soba is topped with fried egg and nankotsu sōki, aka pork sparerib with cartilage. Shaved iced desserts are also popular. Open since 1982.
