Located in a somewhat remote part of Sumida-ku, the taisho comes from a family of chefs, so it is not surprising when the quality of the dishes are high. Also trained in kaiseki cuisine in Kyoto, the highlight is the decently powered shari and well sourced neta. Quite a filling meal with no less than 8 otsumami followed by 16 nigiri sushi... worth a visit if you are heading up to Sumida to do some sightseeing.
