Another place that kind of sits on the outskirts of Fukuoka in Kasuga. Now run by the 2nd gen taisho, who spent a bit of time in Monaco before taking over the family business. The otsumami were excellent.. using ingredients that, even though aren't in season, were delicious. The neta are all high quality and this shop has a strong focus on the sourcing and preparation of the shari. Even though it was lighter than expected, I was pretty happy with it. At 2+ hours for lunch, it isn't a grab and go kind of place!
