Hungry and ready to eat in Taipei! We headed to the Raohe Night Market (饒河街觀光夜市) to try the famous black pepper buns at Fu Zhou Shi Zu Hujiao Bing (福州世祖胡椒饼). There's an assembly line of workers constantly prepping the dough, stuffing it, then baking them in a large outdoor clay oven. Burning charcoal is placed at the bottom to heat the oven and the buns are then stacked one by one from bottom to top of the side of the oven vertically. The result is a delicious crispy outside bread shell with a peppery and tender pork filling. Had to order a second one because they were so good!
