Pho can be eaten at anytime throughout the day. It’s commonly what the locals eat for breakfast starting at 7am. Many of the great spots in Hanoi sell out before noon, like the very popular Phở Gia Truyền 49 Bát Đàn in Old Quarter. We arrived around 8am and there was already a long line stretched into the streets. But things move fast with constant hustle and bustle. You order, grab your bowl and sit on one of the tiny wooden stools, (take a quick photo), eat, and pay $1.25. In my opinion, there’s no better way to start the day. ?
