It was with some elation that I noted the reopening of this gourmand's delight after the Covid19 Lockdown in Melbourne. The food and selection was as mouthwatering as before, nothing was left wanting in terms of superb service and wine. A devotee for three years, I took great pleasure in booking a private function for a Milestone Birthday celebration for 26 people and very much looked forward to introducing my guests and interstate attendees to the fine quality and delicious menu that only Caterina and her talented team, including Chef Marcello can offer. They did not disappoint! Seamless guest management, incredible food and matched wines, extraordinary palate pleasers with texture, aroma and visuals all tantalising the taste-buds. All our guests were blown away by the food and the staff. The ambience and sophistication of the restaurant was juxtaposed against the beautiful oak beams, the mix of Art Deco and rustic decor and the great music in the background. The wait staff and chef pulled out all the stops and the entire place was awash with candles to add to the mood. Welcome Back Caterina - long may you reign as the Queen of fine Italian Dining.
