Atelier Anne de Bretagne, a two-Michelin-starred restaurant in La Plaine-sur-Mer, Brittany, continues to impress with its blend of modern French cuisine and regional flavors under Chef Mathieu Guibert. Having visited twice, I found my second experience to be even more refined. The execution of the dishes was more precise, and the flavors better balanced.
The meal featured standout dishes, with the fish being perfectly proportioned, exquisitely cooked, and exceptionally tasty. The lobster was also a highlight, rich in flavor and expertly prepared. However, the amuse-bouche of oyster with oyster ice cream felt a bit too strong for the opening course.
Despite that, the dining experience was elegant and well-curated, making Atelier Anne de Bretagne a top culinary destination in Brittany. The restaurant’s seamless blend of regional seafood, innovative techniques, and refined service continues to elevate the experience, setting it apart from others in the area.
