I used to go there a lot, I love this place but have not been there for years. I forgot how much I missed it. Now that I know, I had to catch up and went there twice in the last 6 months.
Peter Goossens, the doyen of Belgian fine dining, the man who put this country on the map, the man who taught the framers what to do, the man who created his own ecosystem in order to provide his guests what he thinks they deserve.
After all those years he is going strong, introducing new flavours, changing his complete menu four times a year. Executing his menus with precision which shows his love for his profession and his craft.
I only can hope that he will stay where he is for a long time to come.
A very long lunch full of delicious flavors at this top-rated restaurant. Truly a 3-star experience. Full of surprising flavor combinations.
