Second dinner. Epic Yakitori at Tori Kado. (鳥かど). Reservations are quite hard to get, but showing up around 9:45 and asking very nicely just might snag you a seat. 12 skewers, two sides, and a half rice bowl. “Short” course. Very, very refined.

Early dinner at Sushi Take (鮨竹) in Ginza. In addition to delicious sushi with a pronounced red vinegar-style rice, it’s quite notable for having a female chef. She’s not only extremely talented, but also utterly delightful. Recommended.
